CIVIL / STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE: 5+ years (or MSc+ 4 years) of hands on civil/structural oil & gas industry structures design experience. PDMS/PDS knowledge and Auto Cad proficiency necessary due to its involvement throughout the design process. Staad Pro, SAP 2000, MathCAD, ETABS, SAFE, word processing, spread sheets proficiency required. Previous Experience with EPC companies. Knowledge of codes and standards such as ASTM, ASCE, IBC, API, ACI, AISC and UBC.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Degreed civil or civil/structural engineer from an accredited college.

ENGINEER DUTIES: Develops specifications for the design and construction stages. Consults and interfaces with other engineering and design team personnel. Performs specialized structural design calculations (concrete and steel) including earthquake analysis, foundations and pilings for equipment, structures and tanks, dynamic analysis of rotating equipment foundations and structures.
